Who we are

Neighbourhood Clay is an intimate pottery studio in the heart of Smithers, BC — a welcoming space for curious beginners and returning makers. Rooted in community and creativity.

The studio is fully equipped with:

• 4x Shimpo pottery wheels

• Skutt kiln (firing to cone 04 and cone 6)

• large working table

• slab roller

• hand extruder

• shared tools

• glaze station

• 10+ studio glazes, 20+ commercial glazes

• lending library of pottery resources and inspiration

We offer monthly workshops, private group bookings, and studio memberships designed to support learning, practice, and connection through clay.
