Clay for the Neighbourhood

At Neighbourhood Clay we believe that time with clay should be available to everyone, irrespective of financial means or personal circumstances.

Beginning in fall 2026, the studio will be offering a grant program, allowing individuals that feel pulled towards pottery, but are facing financial barriers, to attend a monthly workshop, at no cost.

Program details

• monthly studio workshop space, limited spots available

• both adults & youth can apply (ages 9+)

• submit a short application that helps us learn about you and your interest in pottery

• selected with care based on need and availability

Open to

• folks who feel drawn to working with clay

• aren’t able to take a class right now due to cost-related barriers

• can commit and actively participate in the service provided, if chosen

• live locally
