2-Day Beginner Pottery Wheel Intensive
Saturday June 27th & Sunday 28th | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
$420 per student
A 12-hour immersive pottery wheel experience for complete beginners and returning beginner students. Over two full days, students will learn the foundations of wheel throwing in a small-group setting with lots of hands-on instruction and individual guidance.
You’ll learn how to prepare and centre clay, shape cups and bowls, trim and finish your work, and explore a variety of surface decoration techniques. Returning students are welcome to refine and build on existing skills and techniques.
At the end of the weekend, you’ll decide what finish or glaze works best for each of your pieces. Final firing and glazing of all student work happens in the studio after the workshop, and pieces will be ready for pickup once completed (within 2 -3 weeks).
Students are welcome to stay after class hours to continue working on their pieces and enjoy additional open studio time throughout the weekend.
Small class size (6 students) = lots of hands-on guidance

• Kiln Firing
• Open studio time after class hours
